Online Sales and Inventory Management System

The main objective of this project is to develop an Online Sales and Inventory Management System for a departmental store. We can use this system to create receipts for sales, store the inventory details, generate sales and inventory reports periodically, update the inventory based on the sale details etc.

The two main components of Online Sales and Inventory Management System (OSIMS) are:
1) Admin component- It is used by the administrators. They can perform admin level functions like adding new items to the inventory and changing the price of an item.
2) User component- It is used by inventory managers, salespersons and sales managers.

This system is a integrated system and it runs on multiple terminals. OSIMS offers a GUI interface to its users and connects to a common database.
